Description:

The WebSitePulse Transaction Recorder for Chrome browser works as browser extension and provides an easy way to record, edit and upload e-business transactions used with the web transaction and web application monitoring services.

Installation guide:

To install the Chrome Transaction Recorder you should enable Google Chrome's extension experimental APIs. You can do that by:

Go to chrome://flags, find "Experimental Extension APIs", click on "Enable" link, and restart Chrome. From now on, you'll be able to run extensions that use experimental APIs.

or

Add --enable-experimental-extension-apis by modifying the properties of the shortcut that you use to launch Google Chrome. For example:
path_to_chrome.exe --enable-experimental-extension-apis

Usage:

The extension works as an add-on for Google Chrome Developer Tools. To open Developer Tools: Options -> Tools -> Developer Tools or press Ctrl + Shift + I

In Developer tools you will find a "WSP Transaction Recorder" panel.
Its interface allows you to record, edit and upload transactions. It also provides you with a number of options to define the request types which you want to record.
There you can also enter your username and API key, which are required for uploading trasactions into your WebSitePulse account.
