The IP / Network Lookup Gadget does a WHOIS query to determine the owner and/or the administrator of an IP address or network and to provide contact details. The format of the results varies from the different registrars. Common use of IP / Network Lookup results is finding out the owner of a machine sending out Spam, performing unauthorized requests and Internet attacks or other unacceptable actions.
