WebSitePulse 2012 Hurricane Season Web Performance and Uptime Report

Several years ago, in light of the horrific damages suffered from hurricanes Katrina and Wilma, here at WebSitePulse, we wanted to make our contribution to the relief efforts. That is why during the height of the hurricane season we provide free monitoring and notifications to some of the most popular websites that present their users with real-time forecasts, emergency information and donation opportunities in times of hurricanes, floods, and other natural or man-caused disasters. We believe that during this period the information that these sites publish is vital and can potentially be life-saving as it helps people prepare and protect themselves, their property and their community.

The Web Performance reports will include data from the measurements of the most visited hurricane and disaster-related websites. The information will be updated and displayed on a daily basis during the most active time of the season – August 1st through October 31,2012.

The reports will reflect the most common performance criteria: response time and availability. In-depth analytical information will also be collected and stored in the WebSitePulse system for future reference.

An RSS feed from the daily Reports will be available for the convenience of those interested in the performance of the monitored websites.
