The 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season has started on June 1 st and will end on November 30 th, 2021. It is related to storms and hurricanes formed in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea, which most commonly affect the North American continent.

So far, this year's Atlantic Hurricane Season is relatively slow. It started earlier on May 22 nd with the tropical storm Ana. The season includes five tropical depressions, five tropical storms, and one hurricane (category 1). So far, the storms have caused $390 million in damages and 19 fatalities.

The 2021 Pacific Hurricane Season started on May 15 th in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and on June 1 st in the Central Pacific. Both will end on November 30 th, 2021. Although there were ten tropical depressions, eight tropical storms, three hurricanes, and one major hurricane (category 4), their impact was low on the US coastline. Only the hurricane Enrique affected Baja California Peninsula, causing $50 million in damages and two deaths.
