| December 18th, 2012 | Introducing the Industry’s First Current Status Add-on for Internet Explorer |
The Current Status Add-on is the latest addition to the family of browser add-ons and extensions recently introduced by WebSitePulse and the Industry’s first Add-on compatible with Internet Explorer. The Current Status provides easy and convenient way to keep an eye in real-time on the status of servers, websites and web applications monitored by the WebSitePulse remote monitoring service. The Add-on resides in the browser, can be opened or closed with a single click and when opened, connects to the Customer’s service account and displays in real-time data about the status and response time of websites and web applications measured from multiple monitoring locations around the World. The Add-on also links to more details about each specific website or server in the Customer’s account and can refresh its contents automatically on a regular basis. For our Customers using Firefox browser, a similar browser extension was introduced in the middle of August 2007, which gained popularity within days of its release. As hurricane Sandy made landfall earlier today, WebSitePulse reports that all of our monitoring agents are operating normally. Since our East Coast locations are maintained in the most reliable and secured datacenters, we can confirm that we do not expect any problems that could affect the monitoring for our customers. Nevertherless, we are still closely monitoring the situation in case any unexpected issues arise and our system engineers are on stand-by to prevent any service interruptions. | |
